Blog Day 178 - Wednesday 30 December 2020 Last day of the year tomorrow and it has been a bit of a year. I will be out for most of the day tomorrow so will catch up with blog stuff on Friday. How is this for a paradox, Sydney is still putting on it's fireworks a midnight NYE but is closing off the city so that no one can watch them and Melbourne is not having fireworks but the city will be open but there will be no fireworks to look at. Also the Melbourne city council is encouraging people to come into the city for the evening and the state government is encouraging people to stay home. So work that one out. It looks like Sydney has rather greedily clutched the third cricket test back, although a new virus cluster has been detected in Croydon which at the time of going to press had an unknown source. Australia wide there were 31 new cases detected in the last 24 hours of which 25 were in NSW. Of the NSW cases 7 were from overseas travellers, however 18 were local...
