It is getting difficult to keep up with who is doing what to whom in the Australian world of corona virus infections, each state seems to be playing by a different set of rules. This is how I see the state of play in the states that have current community infections; Victoria - has one new local infection in the last 24 hours who is a known close contact of a known infected person and has not been in the community whilst infectious. This brings to 34 the total number of active cases in the state of which 17 are ROTs - therefore there are 17 known local infections currently in the state. In the last 24 hours the state received the results of 30,000 tests and administered 35,000 vaccinations. There has been no change to the current minimal covid restrictions.
