Blog Day 440 - Tuesday 15 June 2021 - Day 19 Lockdown Version 4 (extended light)
Just had my blogging interrupted by the two naughty little dogs from next door turning up in my back yard. They had escaped from my neighbour's back yard, run down their driveway onto the street and then up my driveway, scuttled under my gate and into my backyard.
I knew if I cornered the ringleader and caught him the other would follow. So after a bit of a chase and a struggle the little dog was safely in my arms and after a little while and some stern words he stopped trying to bite me.
I carried the dog around to his house with the other dog leading the way, this dog jumped and squeezed through the fence on his own accord and the one I was carrying squeezed through the fence with a bit of encouragement from me.
Now that they are in their own backyard the will spend the afternoon barking, which is just another way for them to irritate me.
I have received my first official emails from the ABS welcoming me on board and providing me with a list of instructions for setting up my online access, payroll details etc etc.
I will have to cut this short today, as I have some real work to do. Nothing much to report on the virus front here in Victoria or Australia. No new cases reported in Victoria although there two new cases have popped up today in the Southbank towers cluster which will be recorded in the figures presented tomorrow. No locally acquired cases have been reported in the rest of this wide brown land of ours.
Worldwide the the figures are showing their usual post weekend crapedness, so not worth commenting on anyway, pretty much all the daily new infection figures are heavily underreported.
Due to other commitments the blog may become a little irregular but I will do my best to keep you, dear reader, informed of the important things happening in our little covid haven and the rest of the covid ravaged world.
