Blog Day 659 - Friday 28 January 2022 - Day 90 of Covid Nearly Normal We have been experiencing what could only be described as tropical weather, hot, humid, rain and thunder storms.  The last four days has seen temperatures up to the mid 30's including 36 degrees one day.  Today is forecast to be 32 although it is 33.7 in my backyard at the moment, down to 25 tomorrow but then building back up to 30's on Monday. As well as tropical levels of humidity we have had days or rolling thunderstorms and torrential rain with more on the way. Talking to people at the Shrine yesterday it is obvious that people are still maintaining some level of self imposed isolation.  The other volunteers all agreed that they are avoiding places like shopping centres and are only going to places such as supermarkets when necessary.  Obviously the Shrine volunteers are from an older cohort and would be expected to be more cautious than most, but it is obviously quieter around the suburbs....
