12.46pm and we are still waiting on the virus stats for the last 24 hours.  

Virus stats are now available, as announced by Premier DD a few moments ago.  Three hundred new infections yesterday, 357 today, so no encouraging pattern emerging as yet.  These figures are as we used to say......."up and down like a yo-yo", or some other things not suitable for a family friendly blog.

A further 5 deaths in Victoria in the last 24 hours, apparently all five in their 80's and 90's and I daresay residents of nursing homes.

Two hundred and twenty nine corona virus patients in Victorian hospitals and 42 in ICU.

No good news in the world figures, 288,000 new infections and 6,000 new deaths.
